Osteopathic manipulative treatment is suitable for people of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, up to pregnant women.
During pregnancy, the sessions allow the mother to be put in the best conditions to have the most physiological birth possible, and at the same time alleviate the typical disorders of the period such as lumbago and cervicalgia. The osteopathic visit in preparation for childbirth is useful to align the iliac bones to effectively direct the intra-abdominal and uterine forces at the time of labor.
But even after the event it is advisable to continue the sessions to regain normal somatic functionality.
WHAT DOES PEDIATRIC OSTEOPATHY CONSIST OF?
Pediatric osteopathy is ideal for both full-term and premature babies, to stimulate the neuropsychomotor system through gentle, non-invasive manipulative touch , also addressing postpartum cranial remodeling.
Osteopathy is recommended during the development of the child to prevent or treat somatic dysfunctions such as scoliosis, dental malocclusions, neurovegetative disorders, incorrect postures, migraines and strabismus.
